Alyssa Valdez is Reader's Digest Most Trusted Sportsperson. Her humility on and off court, makes her holds the title of the world’s most followed volleyball player. The awardees were selected based on an independently commissioned survey, according to Manila Bulletin report. The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Awards will be presented to winners gathered to celebrate at the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila Hotel On Tuesday 14 April, 2023 at 7 p.m. Alyssa Valdez was not able to fit the PVL All-Filipino Conference due to injury. however her team, the Creamline Cool Smashers is on their way to their 8th Finals appearance on PVL after they beat F2 Logistics in best of three semi-Finals, with Creamline prevailing in two games. CCS will face the winner between Petro Gazz Angels and PLDT Speed Hitters.
Valdez is a multi-awarded Volleyball player in the country and the most popular with million followers on Facebook and Twitter. Valdez already appears in numerous TV Commercial such as Pepsi, Milo and Gatorade to name a few. She is also the sports ambassador of PNB's Allianz. She is currently the President of the only Men's Semi-Pro League in the Country, The Spiker's Turf.
Valdez went on her first vacation in the United States together with her team mates and bestfriends, Michelle Gumabao and Ella de Jesus.
This marks a double celebration for Valdez, as her team made their fifth straight All-Filipino finals, even with her sidelined due to injury throughout the conference.
Alyssa might not be playing even in the finals of PVL to be able to fully recovered from her injury.
In 2022, Valdez appears in Pinoy Big Brother as one of the housemates in "Bahay ni Kuya". Allysa will again represent the country in the upcoming SEA Games in Cambodia, together with her team mates, Jia Morado de Guzman, Celine Domingo and Tots Carlos.
