PlayStation 3 (PS3) is not supported by Elgato Game Capture HD60

Elgato Game Capture HD60 can't capture any PlayStation 3 (PS3) gameplay. Elgato Game Capture HD60 only accepts unencrypted HDMI input that doesn't protect the signal via HDCP. The PS3 outputs video via HDMI that is protected via HDCP. That means that Elgato Game Capture HD60 cannot capture any video from the PS3. To capture PS3 gameplay, you can use the original Elgato Game Capture HD hardware, along with a special PS3 cable that comes with that unit. OS X - Turning Stream Command On or Off- What to do? The control to turn on Stream Command is in the Preferences. Go to the Capture tab, and check the "Enable Stream Command" option. If Stream Command is turned on, then software transcoding will be used. That will take up more resources than if you stream with Stream Command turned off. When Stream Command is turned off in the Preferences, then hardware transcoding will be active. That will use less resources.
