It's a very long weekend for Manila and Bulacan Residents from Augst 25, start of FIBA World Cup until National Heores Day on Monday, August 28, 2023. Regular Holidays If the employee did not work, he/she shall be paid 100 percent of his/her salary for that day. Computation: (Daily rate + Cost of Living Allowance) x 100%. The COLA is included in the computation of holiday pay. If the employee worked, he/she shall be paid 200 percent of his/her regular salary for that day for the first eight hours. To sustain the Department of Labor and Employment’s efforts in facilitating employment in the country, Secretary of Labor and Employment Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz yesterday announced that more DOLE job fairs are coming this August as a fresh reminder to those who are looking for work. “There is no time to waste. We are bringing employment opportunities closer to more job seekers as the government is serious in realizing a job-led growth, especially in those areas at the periphery of socio-economic development,” Baldoz said. The conduct of year-round job fairs is one of the DOLE’s employment facilitation strategies to provide jobseekers continuous opportunities to find jobs and to assist employers to find qualified workers. "Secretary of Labor and Employment Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz yesterday urged private sector employers to observe the correct pay rules and general occupational safety and health labor standards for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Black Saturday. “President Benigno S. According to the report from philstar.com , the Hong Kong government has allocated HK$17.9 billion to fund five new railway lines, public hospital construction and renovation, a waste treatment facility, an indoor stadium and a velodrome. According to the secretary, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through its 16 regional offices, is preparing for the conduct of 200 additional job fairs nationwide from February to April 2013. Baldoz said the year round schedule of job fairs nationwide are also posted in the Phil-JobNet for the benefit of jobseekers and graduates nationwide.
