 Here's the latest update from PAGASA for the Typhoon Jenny with International name "Koinu".  SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon "JENNY" {KOINU} was estimated based on all available data at 360 km East of Basco, Batanes (20.2°N, 125.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 165 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 205 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 15 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. FORECAST: Western Visayas, Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. The rest of Visayas will will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms due to Trough of TY Jenny / Localized Thunderstorms.
