 How to Apply for GSIS Emergency loan due to Typhoon Goring? The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) today announced that its emergency loan program is available for its members and pensioners who will be affected by super typhoon Goring.   "We prepared our support, including emergency loan assistance, to ensure our members and pensioners are fully aware of this important financial lifeline. The GSIS has allocated a Php6 billion budget for this purpose and we are ready to assist those who are in need," GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said.   Active GSIS members living or working in the calamity-hit areas are eligible for the loan.   Their net take-home pay should also not go below Php5,000 after all monthly deductions have been made as mandated by the General Appropriations Act.   Pensioners living in the affected areas can also avail of the loan.
