How far and how risky you can go to show your Nationalism? 12-year old Grade Six pupil of Malinao, Albay, Janela Arcos Lelis, who, at the height of Storm Juaning which destroyed her town of Malinao last August 2, 2011, braved the floodwaters and rain to bring the Philippine flag to safety, unmindful of the risk to her safety and well-being. Janela's devotion to the flag (a symbol of our country and people) is exemplary, and needs to be promoted so that others can emulate her brave and unselfish act!
