What do you think is the real reason why Abby Marano reties from the Philippine Women's National Volleyball Team. For me the reason is very obvious because she's not really included in the line-up for 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia. It was Cherie Nunag, Ced Domingo and MJ Philips who are fitted for the middle blockers position for the 2023 National Team. So I don't think the announcement of retirement is necessary for Ms. Abby since the National Team prefer tall and young players this time. Marano is known to volleyball community as being a "swagger", to the point that some volleyball spectators are saying that she acts with unnecessary swag. This I believed is the reason why Creamline and Choco Mucho has more followers since Filipnos loves humble and kind players, like Alyssa Valdez and Jia Morado.
