Metro Manila Subway Latest Construction Update

The latest update on the Construction of Metro Manila Subway started at Ugong, Valenzuela The line will have an underground depot in Ugong, Valenzuela, within the vicinity of the East Valenzuela station. It occupies 4 hectares (9.9 acres) of space and serves as the headquarters for the operations and maintenance of the line. The trains are parked on several sets of tracks, which converge onto the spur route and later on to the main network.  The Project Total Cost is Php 356.96 billion pesos.  Construction for the Ortigas and Shaw stations began on October 3, 2022, with the groundbreaking ceremony led by President Bongbong Marcos and Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista. Work on the Katipunan and Anonas stations began on February 13, 2023. Mindanao Railway Project Latest Update

Mindanao Railway Project will cost Php 81.7 Billion. The project will have a great impact on the economy of Mindanao.It will support the economic boost in Davao Region by ensuring easier, reliable and faster movement of goods and people. It will maximize the unutilized resources in Mindanao and make the Mindanao an attractive area for investment. Travel time will be reduced from 3 hours to 1 hour and will benefit 122,000 passengers per day. The construction of a 100-kilometer railway system in Mindanao with the first phase linking Tagum, Davao del Norte, Davao del Norte, Davao City, and Digos, Davao del Sur. North South Commuter Railway Update- February 2023

The North-South Commuter Railway Project  is a 147 – kilometer mass transportation railway system traversing Clark, Pampanga (Region 3) to Calamba, Laguna (Region 4). Expected to cost ₱873.62 billion, ] the line is the most expensive railway transportation project in the country. The entire system is expected to be completed by 2029. Upon its completion, the railway will supersede the existing PNR Metro Commuter Line. The Valenzuela Depot is currently 50% complete while Malanday Station, Meycauyan Station, Marilao Station and Bocaue Station are 25% to 30%  complete already. All stations will have a standard layout, with a concourse level and a platform level. The stations are designed to adhere to both Philippine and Japanese standards. Stations will either have island platforms or side platforms with platform screen doors.
