According to Boston Globe , Boston police have confirmed that the first blast occured around 3 p.m. along the marathon route in the area of Boylston Street. A second explosion went off about 10 seconds later, the New York Times reported. The two explosions were about 550 feet apart. Two Filipinos died at Algeria Hostage Taking- Rescue Operation according to a newspaper from Britain, The Times. DFA is yet to confirm the news however. CBS report said that, several casualties in failed rescue operation launched by Algerian army to try free hostages held by islamist militants on the BP gasfiield of IN AMENAS near the Libyan border.
