GMA Writer J.I.E Teodoro wrote a review of the Top Grossing Film Sisterakas and said that Kris Aquino is a disgraced to the said movie. The article was published on GMAnetwork.com . One comment about the article said that: "Sabi lang ni Ms. Kris Aquino sa kanyang twitter account tungkol dito:"Not worth it because success is already the best defense against hatred." Kris tweeted further: Read the piece. Simple reply, how sad for him because i'm here to stay & will try my best to bug him for many yrs more! "Actually it wasn't a review, more of a personal attack against me, that's y I am grateful to my audience because u negate his view," replied Kris to one of her followers who said that the review is biased. "OA na hatred for me diba? Hehehe- kaya para lalong mabwisit by February i’ll be on TV 12X a wk! Kris Tv(5), KKI(5) & PGT(2)." Another comment on the article from  Yesha Lee Collapse  said: I somehow agree with his movie review.

Sisterakas is currently the Top Grosser of MMFF 2012. According to the official tally of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) posted on Twitter, Sisterakas is produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films and selected as one of the 8 official entries to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival. The film is currently showing nationwide on December 25, 2012. The film was directed by Wenn V. Deramas and stars an ensemble cast including Ai-Ai Delas Alas, Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, and Xyriel Manabat. The Film  is presently the top grosser, earning P39.2 million on the first day. “Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote At Si Ako” starring Senator Bong Revilla, Vic Sotto, and Judy Ann Santos follows at the number two spot with P29.5 million ticket sales.
