DOLE Regional Job Hiring Post for 2013

Here's DOLE Regional Job Hiring Post for 2013.

DOLE advises jobseekers to stay in their regions

A January 14, 2013, press release from the Department of Labor and Employment:

It would be better if jobseekers this year stay put and look for jobs in their respective regions because job opportunities are coming to them through the job fairs of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

This was the advice of Secretary of Labor and Employment Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz yesterday as she announced more job fairs in 2013 in the country’s regions.

“Jobs are available to job seekers raring to work this year. They could start their job search at their own communities as the DOLE is making it easier for them to do so by bringing the jobs through its job fairs in the regions,” said Baldoz.

Last week, Baldoz announced the schedule of DOLE job fairs in the National Capital Region for 2013 and, keeping her promise last week, also announced the schedules in the other regions as reports pour in. Schedules from eight regions for the first quarter are already available.

The DOLE mounted or conducted a total of 1,553 job fairs all over the country in 2012 and Baldoz has doubled the job fairs target in 2013. For the first quarter of 2013, the regions which have already scheduled their job fairs are the Regions 2, 3, 4B, 5, 6, 9, 11, and the Cordillera Administrative Region. The regional job fairs and their venues are as follows:

January 2013-Region 5: January 25—USI Gymnasium, Naga City; Region 6: January 24—Gaisano City Mall, La Paz, Iloilo City; Region 9: January 16—Pagadian City Gym; and Region 11: January 12—Tagum Trade & Cultural Center; and January 23-25—Mintal, Calinan & Toril, Davao City.

February 2013-Region 2: February 1—Cagayan Valley Provincial Capitol, Capitol Hills, Tuguegarao City; February 20-23– Cauayan City Hall, Isabela; and February 24-26—University of Perpetual Help System, Cauayan, Isabela; Region 3: February 2—Cabanatuan City Hall; Region 5: February 3-4—Divine Word College of Legazpi Quadrangle, Legazpi City; Region 9: February 9-10—Ateneo de Zamboanga University Conference Hall; February 16-17—St. Scholastica’s College; and February 24—Plaza del Pilar; and Region 11: February 3—University of Southeastern Philippines, Davao City; February 8—Brokenshire College, Davao City; February 9–Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology, Digos City; February 10—AMA Computer College, Davao City; and February 17-18—Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City;

March 2013-Region 2: March 7-8—Our Lady of Pillar College, Cauayan, Isabela; March 17—Sta. Fe Municipal Hall, Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya; and St. Mary’s University, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya; March 22-23–Aritao Municipal Hall, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya; and March 26-27–St. Ferdinand College, Ilagan, Isabela; and Sta. Praxedes Municipal Hall, Sta. Praxedes, Isabela; Region 3: March 1—Rizal Triangle Multi-purpose Covered Court; Region 4-B: March 18—Divine Word College of Calapan, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro; Region 5: March 2—Bicol University, Legazpi City; Region 9: March 27—Summit Center, Tetuan, Zamboanga City; and Region 11—March 2—Davao Merchant Marine Academy, Davao City; and Davao Central College, Toril,

Davao City; March 7-8—San Pedro College, Guzman St., Davao City; March 14—University of Mindanao, Bolton St., Davao City; March 15—Philippine Women’s University, Juan Luna St., Davao City; March 16—University of Mindanao, Digos City; March 24—STI, Acacia, Davao City; and March 28—STI Digos City.

“The conduct of the year-round job fairs are one of the DOLE’s significant employment facilitation machinery that provide continuous opportunities for job seekers to find jobs and assistance for employers to find qualified workers,” Baldoz said.

According to the labor and employment chief, the DOLE is wasting no time in bringing employment opportunities closer to more jobseekers.

“One of the advantages of visiting a DOLE job fair is that a job seeker spends less money and minimal effort to find a job because DOLE gathers as many employers as possible—whether local or overseas—under one roof,” Baldoz said.

“The DOLE also ensures that its government partners bring in to the job fair their services, such as the birth certificate issuance services of the National Statistics Office; the clearance certificate issuance services of the National Bureau of Investigation and the Philippine National Police; the social security benefits programs of the Social Security System; and the passport issuance services of the Department of Foreign Affairs,” she added.

The Bureau of Local Employment, a service agency of the DOLE, which collates the schedule of job fairs nationwide, supervises the conduct of job fairs.

Most Loved Dog Breed in the Philippines- Netizens Choice

What is the Most Popular dog breed in the Philippines? Shih-Tzu, Pomeranian and Aspin are some of the most loved dog breeds in the Philippines. They say having a fur baby at home makes us feel happy and less stressed person. In 2021, I bought, Pomeranian, Maltese and Shih-Tzu puppies and they are all adorable although a bit pricey. But I understand that the breeder needs to bring them to the clinic for vaccination and deworming aside from providing them food and vitamins. Only last month, we adopted a mother Aspin stray dog and her litter. Once you started acquiring and engaging with dogs then it's hard to stop cause you will fall in love with them. But as they say, the dog is the only creature on earth who loves you more than he loves himself. Dog Therapy is a type of therapy that uses dogs or other pets to improve the physical and mental health of patients with certain acute or chronic diseases. It is being studied as a way to relieve distress in cancer patients undergoing treatm...
