GInvest is now GFunds. I have tried investing in GFunds before and if you are currently investing in the stock market, the mechanism is exactly the same as having an account with Col Financial.
If you were an existing GInvest account holder, you can find your GInvest turned GFunds account when you tap GInvest on your GCash homepage. A small pop up screen will appear at the bottom where you can select GFunds to open your account.
Note: Your sell orders are being processed over a standard number of days so you will not receive it immediately and the Net Asset Value Per Unit (NAVPU) used for the fund is not reflected real time.
STEP 1: Launch the GCash App
STEP 2: Tap View All GCash Services
STEP 3: Tap GFunds under Financial Services
STEP 4: Tap View Investment Products
STEP 5: Tap the investment product you would like to sell
STEP 6: Tap Sell at the bottom of the screen
STEP 7: Enter the amount you would like to sell
STEP 8: Tap on Sell Order Terms to read the agreement and tick the checkbox to confirm
STEP 9: Your sell order is placed for processing and will be credited back to your GCash wallet within 4-8 business days
STEP 10: You will receive an SMS/Email confirming a successful transaction and your funds will be credited to your GCash Wallet
