Here is how to make the computation of your salary if in case you will be working on Special Non-Working Days.
For work done during these days that also fall on the employee’s rest day, he/she shall be paid an additional 50% of his/her daily rate on the first eight hours, or [(Daily Rate x 150%) + COLA]; while for work done more than eight hours (overtime), he/she shall be paid an additional 30% of his hourly rate, or [(Hourly Rate of the basic daily wage x 150% x 130% x number of hours worked)].
If you daily rate is Ph500.00 and the cost-of-living adjustment is Ph200.00 then here's the computation of your wages.
[(Daily Rate x 130%) + COLA]
(500 x 130%) + 200= Ph850.00
You should then get paid Ph850 if you work for 8 hours. But if you work for an excess of 2 hours then below will be the computation:
[(Hourly Rate of the basic daily wage x 130% x 130% x number of hours worked)]
62.5 x 1.3 x 1.3 x 2 hours= Ph211.25
your Total payout for the day should be= Ph850.00 + Ph211.50= Ph1,061.25
If the Special Non-Working days fall on Sunday or your rest day.
[(Daily Rate x 150%) + COLA]
500 x 1.5 + 200= Ph950.00. You should then get P950.00 for working on the first eight hours.
Excess than 8 hours:
[(Hourly Rate of the basic daily wage x 150% x 130% x number of hours worked)]
62.5 x 1.5 x1.3 x 2 hrs= 243.75
Total payout for the day+ Ph950.00 + Ph243.75= Ph1,193.75
