ABS-CBN is reportedly going to produce the Philippine adaptation of the famous 2018 Korean drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” It's been a while since Kim Chiu has made a teleserye after the removal of Franchise of ABS-CBN. Her real-life boyfriend, Xian Lim on the other hand has been very busy doing mini-series with GMA Network and also engaged in directing some movies. Xian's latest prime show on GMA is "Hear on Ice" opposite Ashley Ortega. The story follows the dramatic journey of Ponggay (Ashley Ortega) who desires to fulfill her overbearing but well-meaning mother's dream of becoming a figure skating champion. She intends to do this to get her love and validation despite suffering from a leg impairment. Ponggay wants nothing more than to make her mother, Libay, proud.
The story of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim is based on the novel of the same title by Jung Kyung-yoon which was first published in 2013, which was then serialized into a Webtoon comic by KakaoPage in 2015. The series aired on tvN from June 6 to July 26, 2018, on Wednesdays and Thursdays for 16 episodes.
According to online news, ABS-CBN is Philippine adaptation ng sikat na K-drama na “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” ng South Korean TV network na TVN.
Ang Dreamscape Entertainment, na nag-produce ng hit PH adaptation ng “Flower of Evil,” ang gagawa nito, kung saan si Kim Chiu ang gaganap sa lead role. Wala pang ibang detalye tungkol sa bagong proyekto ang naibahagi pa.
