Gilas Pilipinas will be facing Jordan on February 24, 2023 at the FIBA World Cup Qualifier's, 6th and Final Window. The Philippine Arena will host Gilas Pilipinas' games in the sixth FIBA World Cup Qualifier window in February 2023.
Japeth Aguilar will not be able to play against Jordan and Lebanon as he is still recovering from MCL sprain while 7 foot 2 inches Kai Sotto opted not to play in this final window of the tournament. Jordan Clarkson will not play also as he was currently engaged in his NBA stint via Utah Jazz, but will definitely play in the tournament from August to September.
The draw will take place on 29 April 2023 in Manila, Philippines. Full details regarding the pot allocation has not been announced yet, although host Philippines and the highest-ranked teams after the February 2023 qualifying window will be allocated to Pot 1 according to Wikipedia. Furthermore the three host countries are given the privilege to select a team each to host in the group stage. The United States were selected to play in the Philippines, Slovenia in Japan, and Canada in Indonesia. FIBA cites "commercial reasons" for the selection which it says would not affect the draw process.
