Based on my personal experience, If you have a business related to Liquefied Petroleum Gas then you will be required to apply for ERC Certificate of Compliance especially if it's a franchise business like EC Gas, Shellane or Petron Gasul.
Here's the step-by-step guide on How to Apply for an ERC Certificate of Compliance both for new and renewal applications.
New Application:
- Download the following excel file format with the corresponding type of applicant:
- Self-Generating Facility (SGF) with less than 1 MW Rated Capacity
- Self-Generating Facility (SGF) with 1 MW and Above Rated Capacity
- Independent Power Producers (IPP), NPC-SPUG/NPC-PSALM
please download also the following forms:- Affidavit of Compliance with PGDC
- Affidavit of Compliance with WESM
- Affidavit of Compliance with Cross Ownership and Market Share Restrictions
- Copy of SEC Registration/DTI Registration (whichever is applicable)
- Copy of Connection Agreement with NGCP (if applicable)
- Copy of Memorandum of Agreement with the DOE in compliance to ER 1-94
- Copy of ECC and latest PTO (if applicable) from the DENR
- Fill-up all mandatory fields (mark with asterisk) in the excel file and place N/A if not applicable.
*Avoid leaving any blank fields, otherwise, the application will not be accepted by the system.
- Submit the completed excel file to licensing@erc.ph
Renewal Application:
- Download the following excel file format with the corresponding type of applicant:
- Self-Generating Facility (SGF) with less than 1 MW Rated Capacity
- Self-Generating Facility (SGF) with 1 MW and Above Rated Capacity
- Independent Power Producers (IPP), NPC-SPUG/NPC-PSALM
please download also the following forms:- Affidavit of Compliance with PGDC
- Affidavit of Compliance with WESM
- Affidavit of Compliance with Cross Ownership and Market Share Restrictions
- Documents on any changes on SEC/DTI Registration, Connection Agreement with NGCP and other material change
- Copy of ECC and latest PTO (if applicable) from the DENR
- Fill-up all mandatory fields (mark with asterisk) in the excel file and place N/A if not applicable.
*Avoid leaving any blank fields, otherwise, the application will not be accepted by the system.
- Submit the completed excel file to licensing@erc.ph
