Ben Affleck named Best Director at 2013 Golden Globe Awrads

Hollywood actor-director, Ben Affleck named Best Director at 2013 Golden Globe Awards. The 70th annual Golden Globes took over Hollywood on Sunday evening (January 13), with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hilariously at the helm. "Argo" was the night's biggest surprise besting Lincoln in most of the major awards.



According to Reauters report, Daniel Day-Lewis won the award for best actor in a drama for his performance in "Lincoln," Steven Spielberg's film about President Abraham Lincoln's battle to end slavery. It was the only win for the movie, which received seven Golden Globe nominations.

The Golden Globe Awards 2013 Winners are currently being revealed. "Argo" won the top prize, best dramatic movie, and Ben Affleck was named best director for the film, three days after he failed to get an Oscar nomination in the same category.
