POEA Release Guidelines on How to Apply for Nursing Job in Germany! According to the report Germany will open at least 500 job orders for Filipino Health care workers in Germany this year.
The Agreement was signed by Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and Ms. Monika Varnhagen of the German Federal Employment Agency [Bundesagentur für Arbeit]/International Placement Agency [Zentrale Auslands und Fachvermittlung] (BA/ZAV).
The signing ceremony, held at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), was witnessed by Secretary of Labor and Employment Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz and her German counterpart Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Dr. Ursula von der Leyen, and other officials from the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Labor and Employment, Philippine Overseas Employment Administration and the Professional Regulation Commission.
1. The POEA will issue guidelines on the recruitment process.
2. Germany will select employers and determine their job requirements.
3. The POEA will announce start of submission of job application

Philippines and Germany conclude agreement to deploy Filipino health care professionals to Germany. For its initial implementation, the Agreement will apply to the deployment of Filipino nurses who already have a history ofworking in Germany in the 1970s.
The Philippines and the Federal Republic of Germany on Tuesday, March 19, concluded a government-to-government agreement that will facilitate the placement of Filipinohealth care professionals in employment positions in Germany.
