It is actually Chinovelas which conquer Philippine Television when Meteor Garden (F4 and San Chai) was first aired in Channel 2, which gained popularity among the teenage 'Pinoys. Hence, chinovelas started invading the Philippine television first until Koreanovelas started appearing on national television.And up until now Filipinos are still in loved with Koreanovelas such as "Temptation of Wife" of Jang Seo-hee, "Baker King" of Yoon Shi Yoon and CityHunter of Lee Min Ho.

24 Oras and i-Witness of GMA Network is nominated in 2013 Emmy Awards.
