According to InterAksyon, To date, neither anyone representing Star Cinema, the Metro Manila Film Festival and the Metro Manila Development Authority has issued any statements to acknowledge that “One More Try” was adapted from “In Love We Trust”.

Sources say that the working title for “One More Try” was actually “In Love We Trust”. In an article from Interkasyon.com, it says that Star Cinema, the producer of the movie, had reserved the November 14, 2012 playdate in April and June last year for a movie with the title “In Love We Trust”. Earlier reports state that Angelica Panganiban,Dingdong Dantes, and Angel Locsin will topbill the said movie and Ruel S. Bayani is slated to direct the movie.
