GMA's newest epic serye, Indio's pilot episode beat ABS-CBN's Princess and I on TV Ratings. GMA-7's newest epic serye "Indio" starring Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. kicked-off its pilot episode on Monday night, January 14, with a 29.3% ratings.

"Indio" ruled over its counterpart program "Princess and I" which garnered 23.1%

Indio’s first episode also became a trending topic in the Philippines in the micro-blogging site Twitter with the hashtag #IndioGMA.
