News are circulating that TV5 Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan is in talks with GMA-7 stockholders for possible buy-out of the Kapuso network. Social media sites are being bombarded by comments saying they believe, some does not, in the rumors. PEP even posted an article that MVP is currently talking with the Jimenez, Duavit and Gozon families for the possible immediate buy-out - and the deal, according to reports, involved a lot of money. TV5 host-actress Ruffa Gutierrez even confirmed this report on twitter but remarkably missed to say what really is MVP to buy next. TV5 now available in Dubai and Abu Dhabi

TV5 International Successfully Launches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi Pilipinas Global Network Limited (PGNL), TV5’s international arm, officially launched in the Middle East via a 3-day event dubbed “Give Me 5, Kapatid.” Held last November 3-5 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the events were made possible with the help of its partner, Orbit Showtime Network (OSN). “Give Me 5, Kapatid” kicked off on November 3 with a press conference and a luncheon at the Sky Lounge of Gloria Hotel in Dubai. TV5 President and CEO Atty. Ray Espinosa and PGNL President Claro Carmelo Ramirez were joined by chosen community leaders and members of the local press. Wil Time Bigtime was in high spirits last Saturday, October 15, as host Willie Revillame welcomed the newest addition to the top-rating people’s show - Mariel Rodriguez.
