AlDub is a fictional supercouple pairing of Alden Richards and Yaya Dub from the Philippine daytime variety series Eat Bulaga! Its name is derived from a portmanteau of the tandem's character names–Filipino actor Alden Richards, who portrays a fictionalized version of himself; and Yaya Dub, portrayed by Filipina voice dubbing actress Maine Mendoza. Both joining the program's cast in 2015, Richards first appeared as a host of Eat Bulaga!‍ 's various segments, such as the "That's My Bae" portion; while Mendoza originally appeared as Yaya Dub in the show "Juan for All, All for Juan" segment. Exclusively interacting through the show's split screen frame, the AlDub couple are still yet to meet personally for the first time, only communicating by dubbing audio samples of popular songs, films and TV series.

Meanwhile, according to Inquirer.net, The hashtag “#ShowtimeHappyHuwebes” became a top trending topic, posting more than 88,200 tweets when Derek Ramsay shows his abs during Live Show to promote his upcoming movie.

However, it still pales in comparison to the number of tweets which used the hashtag “#HappyAldubWeeksary,” referring to the hit love team of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza featured in the GMA 7 noontime show, “Eat Bulaga,” which gained about 1.1 million tweets.

North South Commuter Railway Update- February 2023

The North-South Commuter Railway Project is a 147 – kilometer mass transportation railway system traversing Clark, Pampanga (Region 3) to Calamba, Laguna (Region 4). Expected to cost ₱873.62 billion, ] the line is the most expensive railway transportation project in the country. The entire system is expected to be completed by 2029. Upon its completion, the railway will supersede the existing PNR Metro Commuter Line.
