GMA Records just signed up and added to their roster of artists Jessa Zaragoza, Kris Lawrence, Geneva Cruz and Shiela Valderrama. Also present during their contract signing were Mr. Felipe S. Yalong - EVP of GMA Network and EVP & COO of GMA Records, Mr. Rene A. Salta - Managing Director of GMA Records, and Mr. Arnold L. Vegafria - artist manager of Jessa, Kris, Geneva and Shiela.

PRC: 1,605 pass licensure exam for midwives

A total of 1,605 out of the 4,013 exam takers passed the licensure exams for midwives given last Wednesday in nine cities in the country, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Saturday. Paulo Benito Tugbang of the West Visayas State University got the highest score of 89.25 percent in the exams administered by the PRC Board of Midwifery last Wednesday in testing centers in Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
