GMA News Online reports that GMA Network Inc. issued an official statement on Tuesday, December 27, to debunk rumors that TV5 chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan is buying GMA Network. The trailer for the Yam Laranas horror film “The Road” became no. 1 in iTunes Top 25 trailers. The U.S. theatrical trailer of GMA Films’ “The Road” became no. 1 among the most popular trailers in iTunes starting 5pm LA time (April 23) or 8am Manila (April 24).
