Sharon Cuneta finally put an end to the never-ending rumor that she will be leaving ABS-CBN, her home for 23 years, when she signed an exclusive 5-year contract with TV5 earlier this evening, November 22, at TV5 Marajo office.

The Megastar has kept mum on the issue, but Judy Ann Santos, who considers her as one of the closest friends in show business, in a recent interview said she will support Sharon’s decision whatever it may be.
“Basta kung saan siya magiging masaya at aalagaan nang husto, doon ako kasi deserving siya, Megastar siya at pinaghirapan niya kung ano man siya ngayon,” she reportedly said.

The contract signing was witnessed by TV5 top honchos TV5 President and CEO Atty. Ray Espinosa and TV5 COO Robert Barreiro who warmly welcomed the Megastar as the newest biggest Kapatid star.
Also present in the contract signing were Sharon's managers Sandra Chavez and Vic del Rosario of Artists Agency, Inc.
Among Sharon's projects on TV5 include a daily show, a reality show, and a movieproject.
Her rumored worth as a Kapatid? A whopping P1-billion.
