Meet Miss World 2011 Candidates

Here's another treat for beauty pageant followers. The 61st edition of the Miss World pageant is scheduled to take place at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre on November 6, 2011 in London. Alexandria Mills of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Gwendoline Ruais from Muntinlupa City who was crowned at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila on September 18, 201 will represent Philippines in the Miss World 2011 at the Earls Court, in London , England on November 6, 2011. Gwendoline  is 21 years old, stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a vital statistics of 36-26-36.

Fil-Canadian Riza Santos will represent Canada. During her participation with Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 2, she played for Bantay Bata, ABS-CBN Foundation's charitable institution. On Day 84, she was proclaimed the second place winner of the show. In 2008 and 2009, she hosted the Asian Poker Tour.

GMA revealed Coaches of The Voice: Generations PH

Watch the GMA Network revelation of the official coaches of The Voice: Generations Philippines as this will be revealed on June 9 on GMA's flagship news program, 24 Oras. North South Commuter Railway Update- February 2023

The North-South Commuter Railway Project  is a 147 – kilometer mass transportation railway system traversing Clark, Pampanga (Region 3) to Calamba, Laguna (Region 4). Expected to cost ₱873.62 billion, ] the line is the most expensive railway transportation project in the country. The entire system is expected to be completed by 2029. Upon its completion, the railway will supersede the existing PNR Metro Commuter Line. The Valenzuela Depot is currently 50% complete while Malanday Station, Meycauyan Station, Marilao Station and Bocaue Station are 25% to 30%  complete already. All stations will have a standard layout, with a concourse level and a platform level. The stations are designed to adhere to both Philippine and Japanese standards. Stations will either have island platforms or side platforms with platform screen doors. The stations are designed to be barrier-free, and trains shall have spaces for passengers using wheelchairs. Historical stations will be preserved....
