GMA 7’s Philippine Treasures, inirekomenda ng DepEd

DepED recommends to watch Philippine Treasures on GMA-7, DepEd ADVISORY No. 453, s. 2011

In compliance with DepED Order No. 39, s. 2. Watch the Philippine Treasures! Sept.11, 10:30pm sa SNBO, hosted by Ms. Mel Tiangco.

PHILIPPINE TREASURES

The GMA News and Public Affairs Department announces the showing of a
special feature on the country’s historical artifacts – Philippine Treasures hosted by
Ms. Mel Tiangco. This is set to air on September 11, 2011, Sunday, at 10:30 p.m. This
production aspires to rekindle the Filipinos’ interest on the Philippines’ rich culture
and colorful history.
This special feature will include the following topics:
a. Bayan ng Ginto – A look at Ayala Museum’s Gold of Ancestors exhibit
showcasing the gold accessories that were found in Surigao in 1981. The
collection is proof of the country’s rich culture and the gold artifacts are
evidences of the ancestors’ seamless craftsmanship. Unfortunately,
some of the country’s important gold treasures, like the Golden Tara
(ancient statue of the Hindu-Malayan Goddess that was found by a
Manobo woman in Agusan in 1971), are now in the possession of other
international museums;
b. Hikaw ni Lapu-Lapu? – An excavation was done by the National
Museum in Boljoon Cebu in June where they found an earring that
according to experts was only worn by Chieftains. Since Boljoon was in
Cebu, there was a possibility that Lapu-Lapu had worn this earring;
c. Burial Jars – Learn about the anthropomorphic (human form) burial
Jars, more popularly known as the Maitum Jars, which were discovered
at Sarangani province in 1991. These jars date back 5BC, and are also
considered as one of the most sought after artifacts among private
collectors. These national treasures are reportedly exported and traded
illegally in the black market;
d. Baybayin – Two stone tablets in Monreal, Masbate which were
previously used as doormats, were discovered to have encryptions in
Baybayin, an ancient form of Filipino writing. Only a handful of Filipino
tribes, including the Hanonoo Mangyan in Mindoro, understand the
Baybayin. Witness as this ethno linguistic group and other experts try
to decode what the encryptions tell about the culture at that time; and
e. Status of National Museum – A look at the state of the National
Museum, the institution that houses all the country’s National
Treasures, and to discover what it truly says about the Filipinos’ concern
for their culture and heritage. Issues involving the storage facilities,
preservation equipment, and funding concerns will be discussed.
For more information, contact Mr. Ramon Del Rosario Torres III, Executive
Producer, GMA Public Affairs at telephone no.: (02) 928-5021; or at mobile phone no.:

How to Analyze your Blog SEO Performance via Page Speed Insights

With Page Speed Insights, I have learned a lot of things to improve my blog post searchability with Search Engines. PSI will Analyze your blog's appearance on Mobile and Desktop. Visit Page Speed Insights website, by searching on Google or Bing. Page Speed Insights works like Microsoft Clarity. Both are very useful in Analyzing and giving tips and best practices on how to improve our Websites. One of the tips I learned from PSI is the importance of Alt Attributes on the images we include on our blog post. Informative elements should aim for short, descriptive alternate text. Decorative elements can be ignored with an empty alt attribute. PSI reports on the user experience of a page on both mobile and desktop devices and provides suggestions on how that page may be improved. Here is the step-by-step guide on How to Analyze your Blog SEO Performance via Page Speed Insights. 1. Copy your website or blog URL. 2. Paste and hit Analyze 3. Why Refrain from Buying Imported Plants

It is simple why you should hold off on buying expensive rare imported plants. The supply-demand Should be considered as most of the expensive plants which cost about 2 million, 3 years ago like the matured from of Philodendron  Spiritus Sancti and Vaariegated Billitiae can now be bought in it's juvenile form for only Php 5,000 pesos. Due to pandemic, the prices of rare plants from Thailand, Holland and Ecuador skyrocketed. Some I believed are overpriced already. Due to fad on being a palntito and plantita with rare collection of plants, people were spending more on plants just for the sake of having a rare plant on his/her collections. But later you will realized that it is better to wait a little more since the price of rare imported plants are declining. In 4th quarter of this year, one-leafer variegated billitiae maybe in 2,000 to 3,000 per leaf compared to 100,000 per leaf a year ago. credit: Ms.Hannah The price of Variegated Philodendron Black Cardinal before is Php 100,000 f...
