Final Fantasy XIII-2 theme song "New World" by Charice

International singing sensation Charice invades the gaming scene. The Filipina singer's single entitled “New World” is the themesong of Final Fantasy XIII-2 game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, Japanese entertainment and gaming blogs say.

Charice song entitled “New World,” will serve as the game’s theme in North America and most parts of the world. Charice’s Infinity album is set to be released in Japan in October while the Final Fantasy XIII-2 game for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 is expected to hit stores on January 31, 2012.

PRC: 1,605 pass licensure exam for midwives

A total of 1,605 out of the 4,013 exam takers passed the licensure exams for midwives given last Wednesday in nine cities in the country, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Saturday. Paulo Benito Tugbang of the West Visayas State University got the highest score of 89.25 percent in the exams administered by the PRC Board of Midwifery last Wednesday in testing centers in Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
