Another epic-Koreanovela is coming soon on GMA, "Dong Yi". Set during the reign of King Sukjong in the Joseon dynasty, the story focuses on Dong Yi, a water maid who gains the trust of Queen Inhyeon and later the favour of the king when he is moved by her prayers for the health of the Queen during the court disputes caused by Jang Hee Bin. This is actually one of the most heart-warming brother-sister story that I have ever watch last September 4, on Protege's Pilot Episode.   Isang malungkot na balita ang aming natanggap, pumanaw na ang kapatid ni Protege Lirah. Mamayang gabi, damayan natin at samahan siya sa pagsilip sa mga labi ng kanyang kapatid na si Toto. Ang amin pong buong-pusong pakikiramay para sa pamilya ni Lirah.

GMA-7 Press Release: GMA-7 recently awarded Munting Heredera with a 10-week extension due to its consistent high ratings performance in the primetime block. From August 1 to 19, Munting Heredera led on its timeslot in viewer-rich Mega Manila according to data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement. For the said period, the Kapuso program garnered an average household share of 38.1 percent, 10.4 points higher than its ABS-CBN counterpart's 27.7 percent.
