NEW MOVIE ALERT: Voltes V Legacy stars Miguel Tanfelix and Ysabel Ortega will star in their vey first movie together in the upcoming GMA Public Affairs produced film under GMA Pictures titled The Firefly!

Also included in the cast are Juancho Trivino a.k.a Padre Salve of the hit series Maria Clara at Ibarra, Max Collins, Alessandra De Rosi, Yayo Aguila, Kokoy De Santos, and Ms. Chery Pie Picache.

Voltes V will be telecast on GMA Primetime on the second quarter of the year while the movie might be shown in Cinemas by the third quarter of the year.

PRC: 1,605 pass licensure exam for midwives

A total of 1,605 out of the 4,013 exam takers passed the licensure exams for midwives given last Wednesday in nine cities in the country, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Saturday. Paulo Benito Tugbang of the West Visayas State University got the highest score of 89.25 percent in the exams administered by the PRC Board of Midwifery last Wednesday in testing centers in Manila, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
