Is AlDub Fan Shallow- it teaches us about nuances of family

Here's a good article from Charisma on Twitter. Meanwhile, earlier today AlDub second McDo TV Commercial was released just before the Kalyeserye. 





The most-awaited second McDonald's commercial of Eat Bulaga kalyeserye loveteam Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza was released Monday afternoon premiered in 90-second commercial.















May I humbly add that Aldub does not make us idiots or shallow. Neither does it aim to shove any of its craziness and silly antics down our throats.. We still have access to the TV switch. People flock to TV screens whenever its on, wherever they are, for reasons other than being shallow. This, as I've pointed out many times in other posts, is because these people know how to appreciate simple joys. There is no script here, all impromptu spiels, sometimes corny jokes, often having all characters make a fool out of themselves just to make people laugh and applaud and root for the love between ALDub. It is all so simple, so basic, so Pinoy.



Is it so wrong to spend a few minutes of your day laughing amidst the reality of real life? Can you really blame the so-called masa for wanting more? Instead of talking about how shallow these people are, why not just leave them be.



Bashers have no idea about how it makes people happy, how it teaches them about nuances of family life (Lola Nidora wanting only the best guy for yaya), how it shows the value of respect for women, how love conquers all, including the strictest relative, for as long as the suitor has virtue and his intentions are noble.



On that note, I do wish that those who do have minds of their own will be able to distinguish between fact and fiction, real and reel. That a show is only as good as its audience, that its value is only as good as the lessons it imparts.
