It takes a beautiful and brave teleserye from GMA before the world recognize Carla Abellana's acting prowess and beauty.
On July 12, 2013, everyone was glued to their television and wait for My Husband's Lover's one of the most intense if not the most intense scene on Philippine television from the controversial GMA teleserye My Husband's Lover.
It's been a while since Carla Abellana graced the Philippine TV but this is her shining moment as she was able to showcase her acting prowess.

Here's Ms. Abellana's open letter from her Instagram account:
"Tom and I, together with the entire team behind My Husband's Lover, cannot begin to express how grateful we are for all your messages. We are truly overwhelmed. Last night, we sat down for a bit to watch along with the entire world, remembering exactly how we felt shooting those scenes just days ago. It was a tough scene. A tough day. Nevertheless, it was more than worth it. We praise our show's backbone, from Atty. Felipe Gozon to Ma'am Lilybeth Rasonable, our amazing writers headed by Ms. Suzette Doctolero, our brilliant and compassionate director Dominic Zapata, our team leaders headed by Ms. Helen Sese and our hard working, ever so kind staff & crew. I give full credit to these people i HIGHLY respect and love. This photo was taken just seconds after last night's episode. The entire team was outside the house and all-smiles, mostly glued to their phones and even clapping. I have never seen such a relieved crowd in front of me. Tom and I just looked at each other briefly, smiled ear to ear, and at the exact moment moved in to hug for what seemed like eternity. This photo was taken by one of our production assistants just right after that. It feels really great knowing that we shared the exact same feeling of fulfillment. We were emotional and speechless. There's still so much to share, like the incidents that took place just right before or after those scenes. But we'll just keep that to ourselves as an act of respect to each other. THANK YOU, our dear viewers and supporters. We do our best to give you a beautiful show to watch. An eye-opening story that we could all understand, relate to or learn from. We're not here to teach, judge, implicate, disrespect or tolerate anything or anyone. Just here to tell you a story about pure love in the most realistic way we can. Again, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We love you very very much. ❤"

Watch the much-awaited, most dramatic and intense scene in GMA-7's hottest primetime series "My Husband's Lover" happened on Friday, July 12, when Lally (Carla Abellana) caught his husband Vincent (Tom Rodriguez) and his lover Eric (Dennis Trillo) kissing (almost) enough for her to finally realized that her husband is gay.
