To sustain the Department of Labor and Employment’s efforts in facilitating employment in the country, Secretary of Labor and Employment Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz yesterday announced that more DOLE job fairs are coming this August as a fresh reminder to those who are looking for work. “There is no time to waste. We are bringing employment opportunities closer to more job seekers as the government is serious in realizing a job-led growth, especially in those areas at the periphery of socio-economic development,” Baldoz said. The conduct of year-round job fairs is one of the DOLE’s employment facilitation strategies to provide jobseekers continuous opportunities to find jobs and to assist employers to find qualified workers.
