Dingdong, Marian and Dennis Trillo Date with GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV Subscribers a Huge Success

Dingdong, Marian and Dennis Trillo Date with GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV Subscribers a Huge Success.

Kapuso big stars Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo had a blast chatting with their fans in the U.S. via the Kapuso Mo Sa Dish, Ka-date Mo promo hosted by DISH Network and GMA Network international channels GMA Pinoy TVand GMA Life TV.

The Kapuso Mo Sa Dish, Ka-date Mo promo had the participants re-enact a scene from their favorite Kapuso programs. The video clips were then uploaded to YouTube and posted on DISH Ko 'to's Facebook wall.

The best entries, which came from Anton Rolth Franco of New Jersey andJosephus Tudtud of New York, won a chat date with Kapuso stars and real-life sweethearts Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo, respectively.

Anton, who had his family with him during the video chat, got star struck and stunned when Dingdong and Marian challenged him to an impromptu acting exercise with them. Anton did not disappoint the Kapuso stars and had the two laughing their hearts out by his wit and funny antics. Dingdong was even quick to respond to Anton's request when he said "Punta kayo dito!" ("Please visit us here!") as he was scheduled to join the Philippine Independence Day celebration in New York.

Josephus, meanwhile, was surprised to share similarities with Dennis. An independent filmmaker in the U.S., Josephus, like Dennis, gets his inspiration from experimental crime films. Both take interest in producing and directing movies as inspired by the works of Hollywood directors David Fincher and Guy Ritchie. "Maybe we can do a collaboration when I visit Manila," Josephus tells Dennis, to which he replies, "Yeah, that would be interesting!"

Asked about their online chat date experience with the winners, Marian says, "Sobrang nakakatuwa kasi first time ko to have a video chat with our fans from the U.S! Sana 'yung ibang mga Kapuso stars magawa rin nila ito." ("This is my first time to have a video chat with our fans from the U.S. I had so much fun! I hope the other Kapuso stars can do this as well.")

Dingdong adds, "Parang walang time difference kapag kausap mo sila, parang nandito lang sila kasama namin. At nakakatuwa to actually see them na pinapanood ang My Beloved." ("It felt like there's no time difference between us and they were just here when we were chatting. It's heartwarming to actually see them watching My Beloved.")

Dennis was also thankful to all the GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV subscribers for all their support. "Sa lahat ng GMA International channel subscribers sa buong mundo, sana ay huwag kayong magsawang suportahan ang GMA Network dahil kami ay hindi rin magsasawa na pagandahin pa ang aming mga programa para mapanood ninyo diyan kahit malayo kayo sa amin. Maraming salamat po sa inyong tuluy-tuloy na pagsuporta." ("To all GMA International channel subscribers worldwide, thank you for all your support and we hope you'll continue to support GMA Network as we strive to give you excellent programs that you can enjoy even if you're far away from home.")

They say having a fur baby at home makes us feel happy and less stressed person. In 2021, I bought, Pomeranian, Maltese and Shih-Tzu puppies and they are all adorable although a bit pricey. But I understand that the breeder needs to bring them to the clinic for vaccination and deworming aside from providing them food and vitamins. Only last month, we adopted a mother Aspin stray dog and her litter. Once you started acquiring and engaging with dogs then it's hard to stop cause you will fall in love with them. But as they say, the dog is the only creature on earth who loves you more than he loves himself. Dog Therapy is a type of therapy that uses dogs or other pets to improve the physical and mental health of patients with certain acute or chronic diseases. Christmas in Philippines/Paskong Pinoy

Paskong Pinoy is one of the world's longest running Christmas celebrations, usually beginning as early as the arrival of the "-ber" months (September, October, and so on). Filipinos from all over spend this entire season with enormously rich yuletide traditions of merry-making observed up to the present day. History The word Pasko is derived from the Spanish " Pascua de Natividad ", which literally means "Easter of the Nativity." However the word " pascua " is associated with "solemnity" or "celebration" for the Spanish, and used for other religious feasts. Historical records show that even before Ferdinand Magellan discovered the Philippines in 1521, an Italian Franciscan friar named Odoric de Perdenon and his colleagues had already landed on the shores of Pangasinan (formerly called “Thalma-sin”). Their arrival marked the country's first Christmas Mass as de Perdenone celebrated a Natale Mass with a group of na...

Inspiring speech by Bill Gates on Harvard Commencement

I always wanted to share this inspiring speech by Mr. Bill Gates. This speech is worth reading over and again. (I just can't remember how many times i read it myself). I received this thru e-mail which was sent to me by a good friend. Harvard Commencement (Text as prepared for delivery) President Bok, former President Rudenstine, incoming President Faust, members of the Harvard Corporation and the Board of Overseers, members of the faculty, parents, and especially, the graduates: I’ve been waiting more than 30 years to say this: “Dad, I always told you I’d come back and get my degree.” I want to thank Harvard for this timely honor. I’ll be changing my job next year … and it will be nice to finally have a college degree on my resume. I applaud the graduates today for taking a much more direct route to your degrees. For my part, I’m just happy that the Crimson has called me “Harvard’s most successful dropout.” I guess that makes me valedictorian of my own special class … I did the b...
