Dubai: As part of final preparations for the shooting of Mission Impossible 4 in Dubai, Ahmad Abdullah Al Shaikh, Director of Dubai Government Media Office (DGMO), on Monday met the star of the film, Tom Cruise and the film’s director, Brad Bird. Jamal Al Sharif, Director of Dubai Studio City, and Paramount officials were also present. During the meeting that took place in Prague, they discussed preparations taken to facilitate the filming crew’s work in various locations that will be used for shooting the fourth Mission Impossible series. Al Shaikh affirmed the UAE’s keenness in supporting all forms of creativity in all sectors, including the film industry. He added that the Dubai Government departments have taken all the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth workflow for the crew. “Dubai supports all forms of artistic and cultural creativity,” he said. Jamal Al Sharif said that choosing Dubai as a location for shooting Mission Impossible 4 is a very important step that affirms the emirate’s potential.
