The winners of the 42nd International Emmy Awards will be announced at a ceremony on November 24, 2014 in New York, USA. GMA-7's phenomenal and trending gay-themed primetime series "My Husband's Lover" is the only Philippine TV series competing in the 2014 International Emmy Awards. MHL starring Dennis Trillo, Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana, is nominated in the Telenovela category of the 42nd edition of the International Emmy Awards.

My Husbands Lover bagged the Outstanding Original Drama Program Award! Dennis Trillo also took home the Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series Award while Carla Abellana was given the Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series Award. Kevin Santos and Glydel Mercado were also given recognition as Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress in a Drama Program respectively.  The four Kapuso artists all mentioned their gratitude to their #MHL co-stars, director, and writer.  The ENPRESS Golden Screen Awards just wrapped and GMA Network was named Outstanding TV Station. German "Kuya Germs" Moreno accepted the award. The star-maker and master showman was also awarded the Dolphy Lifetime Achievement Award "Ulirang Alagad ng Sining."
