GMA Network (GMA) grabbed the nationwide TV ratings leadership in August on the back of its strong performance in the daytime blocks, according to data from the industry’s leading ratings service provider, Nielsen TV Audience Measurement. For the period August 1 to 31 (August 25 to 31 based on overnight ratings), GMA triumphed over ABS-CBN in National Urban Television Audience Measurements (NUTAM) ratings with a 34.3 percent total day audience share, higher than ABS-CBN’s 33.7 percent and TV5’s 12.9 percent. GMA bested ABS-CBN in the morning and afternoon blocks in NUTAM with 32.3 and 36.2 percent, respectively, higher than the latter’s 30.5 and 30.3 percent. Tom Rodriguez has officially signed a three-year exclusive contract with GMA Network today at the GMA Network Center. Present during the signing were GMA Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, President and COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Entertainment TV OIC Lilybeth Rasonable and Tom's manager Popoy Caritativo.

MTRCB chairman Atty. Toto Villareal told Yahoo! OMG Philippines that on July 29, cameras captured one of Eat Bulaga’s hosts “spitting juice” into the child star’s face during 'Ang Joke Ko' segment of the show.  Meanwhile, on August 14, a contest winner had told Ryza Mae “landing bata ka” on her show. The 8-year-old TV host reportedly “asked the contest winner not to be harsh on her.” Villareal noted that those scenes “palpably violate the dignity of the child and have to be addressed by the show’s producer, TAPE, Inc. as well as GMA Channel 7, over which the shows air.”

Watch The Ryzza Mae Show with Efren 'Bata' Reyes- Video Replay. Efren "Bata" Reyes has competed in the last 2023 SEA Games Cambodia. Although, "Bata" was eleminated the Filipinos are still thankful for his contribution to the Sports. Efren was the oldest competitor in the field. Efren Manalang Reyes,  is a Filipino professional pool player and a two-time world champion. Reyes was born in Pampanga in 1954. He moved to Manila with his family at the age of 5. Wally Bayola, a comedian and co-host of GMA Network's noontime show "Eat Bulaga," has a leaked scandal video with EB Babe Yosh showing the actual sex in front of a video camera of which both of them are fully aware. The sex scandal video was leaked online and it is spreading like a wild fire. An alleged sex video of comedian Wally Bayola and EB Babe dancer Yosh Rivera is now circulating online. The video shows a bald man who looks like Bayola having sex with a girl who looks like EB Babe dancer Yosh. The video was uploaded on YouTube on Monday (September 2). Today, Wally Bayola seems to be another victim of hoax on the internet about having a scandal but no proof. When we google about the scandal, all you see are links to non-sense videos and picture. According to tsismosa.net, There is one picture they have found and but there is no proof on the authenticity of the photo. Since I haven't since the video itself, I cannot comment on the photo since it is not clear who the couple are.
