Kenneth Monico performs his own rendition of "Open Arms" by Journey. Kenneth's mentor Jay-r chose the song for Kenneth and at first Kenneth is not confident to sing the song and prefer to sing Piolo Pascual's "Kailangan Kita" but agreed with his mentor to sing "Open Arms" later. 

Lirah Bermudez gives the Evanescence hit song "Bring Me To Life" her own flavor. Lirah's mentor is the King of Soul, Janno Gibbs.

Watch Jaya's Protege, Lovely Embuscado sings the filipino classic "Pangarap na Bituin". The song was popularized by Sharon Cuneta.

Nomer Limatog, Jr. sings a different type of song, performing the hit classic "Baby, I Love Your Way." Nomer's mentor is the "Fierce Songstress" Rachael Ann Go. Rachael choose the song for Nomer to showcase his voice and dedicate the song on his "puppy love" Denise Barbacena who was eventually eliminated on the said live gala.

Denise Barbacena gives her own rendition of Taylor Swift's "Sparks Fly." Denise was eliminated on November 6 at the third elimination night and fourth live gala show of Protege.

Watch Protege Final 9 sang the hits of Lady Gaga on Party Pilpinas Pantasya. Protégé: The Battle For The Big Break is a 2011 reality-based talent search on Philippine television created by GMA Network.  It is hosted by Ogie Alcasid, as the journey host, Dingdong Dantes as gala presenter, and Jennylyn Mercado, the show's reality host.
