Miss World Philippines 2011 will culminate in the national finals on September 18 to be Telecast over GMA 7 & GMA Pinoy TV . The pageant is presented by CQ Global Quest, Inc. and SM Development Corporation, with co-presenters Smart Communications, GMA-7, BMW 7 Series, SM Supermalls, Etihad Airways (international), Philippine Airlines (domestic), AMA Computer University, Midas Hotel, Airgurus and the city of Puerto Princesa. Miss Universe 2011, the 60th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant, will be held at the Credicard Hall, in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. Ximena Navarrete of Mexicowill crown her successor at the end of the event. It may not be broadcast in our Kapuso Network since ABS-CBN got the right to broadcast this one, but still let us support Shamcey Supsup. The Philippine representative this year is 25-year-old Shamcey Supsup from General Santos. Here is the most recent glam-shot of Shamcey, however according to the report her hair is not actually cut this short and only styled for this particular photo shoot.
