DOLE Job Fairs 2013- Month of August

To sustain the Department of Labor and Employment’s efforts in facilitating employment in the country, Secretary of Labor and Employment Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz yesterday announced that more DOLE job fairs are coming this August as a fresh reminder to those who are looking for work. “There is no time to waste. We are bringing employment opportunities closer to more job seekers as the government is serious in realizing a job-led growth, especially in those areas at the periphery of socio-economic development,” Baldoz said. The conduct of year-round job fairs is one of the DOLE’s employment facilitation strategies to provide jobseekers continuous opportunities to find jobs and to assist employers to find qualified workers. The DOLE conducts mega job fairs, city and municipal job fairs, in-house job fairs, mini-job fairs, and barangay job fairs in close coordination with local government units (LGUs) and the Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs). Catch DOLE’s 2013 regional job fairs Schedules! Secretary Labor and Employment Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz yesterday said jobseekers may no longer flock to the cities to seek employment. According to the secretary, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through its 16 regional offices, is preparing for the conduct of 200 additional job fairs nationwide from February to April 2013. Baldoz said the year round schedule of job fairs nationwide are also posted in the Phil-JobNet for the benefit of jobseekers and graduates nationwide. The Phil-JobNet is accessible online at  www.phil-job.net .
